Before you book
The short version: an online request starts a conversation; it does not reserve a time until the studio confirms it. We will agree on the design, price, timing, safety needs, and any deposit or change rules before the appointment goes ahead.
These Terms apply when you use AU Ink's website, booking tools, uploads, and appointment services . By using them, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit a booking request.
You must be at least 18 years old to send a request. You must also be legally able to receive the tattoo and meet the studio's identification, consent, health, and safety requirements before work begins. Contact the studio before booking if you are unsure what applies to you.
Booking requests and confirmation
- Your requested date and time are not reserved until the studio confirms the appointment.
- After review, the artist may offer a different duration, date, start time, or price than the times shown while you inquired.
- Times on the website are Philippine Time (UTC+8).
- Provide accurate contact, design, scheduling, travel, and safety information.
- Check the confirmation carefully and tell us promptly if your details or plans change.
- The private booking link and QR identify your request. Do not share them. Details stay hidden until the booking email is verified.
- The studio may decline, pause, or reschedule work for safety, consent, conduct, design, scheduling, legal, or operational reasons.
Pricing, deposits, and appointment changes
Quotes and session lengths are estimates until the size, placement, detail, design, and scope are agreed. If the request changes, the studio may update the estimate before work begins.
If a deposit is required, the amount and how to pay—GCash, bank transfer, or another method listed in your private portal—are stated in the appointment offer. Pay only through those instructions. A deposit is applied to the agreed session. Do not send money to a different account or to a person claiming to represent the studio outside the official channels.
Ask at least 48 hours ahead if you need to change a confirmed time. Late changes, cancellations, or a no-show may mean the studio keeps some or all of the deposit, as stated in your offer. Ask before paying if a rule or amount is unclear. A calendar entry or automated message alone does not cancel, reschedule, or confirm an appointment unless the studio says it does.
Safety, consent, and preparation
- Follow the preparation, identification, consent, and aftercare instructions we provide.
- Tell the artist about relevant health, medication, allergy, skin, pregnancy, accessibility, or consent concerns before the session. Share only what is needed to work safely.
- Do not attend while impaired or unable to give informed consent.
- Contact the studio promptly if you are unwell or cannot safely attend.
The artist may stop or postpone a session if proceeding would be unsafe, unlawful, or without valid consent. This service does not replace medical advice; ask a qualified health professional when you need medical guidance. After the session, follow the aftercare the artist gave you. The aftercare guide is general support only—if it differs from what the artist told you, follow the artist.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Submit false, unlawful, harassing, infringing, or malicious content.
- Attempt unauthorized access to bookings, staff accounts, uploads, calendars, or infrastructure.
- Interfere with availability, security controls, rate limits, or another person's appointment.
- Upload malware or material you do not have permission to share.
We may restrict access, preserve evidence, or report conduct where needed to protect people and systems.
Your design brief and reference images
You keep the rights you already hold in material you submit. You give the studio permission to use your references, placement photos, and instructions to evaluate, design, price, schedule, and perform your requested tattoo. Only send material you have permission to share.
A reference image guides the conversation but does not guarantee an exact copy or outcome. The artist may adapt or decline a design for originality, copyright, placement, longevity, safety, legal, or ethical reasons—including copies of another artist’s flash or work we cannot responsibly tattoo. Studio artwork, text, branding, and website materials remain owned by their respective rights holders.
Photos and portfolio use
The studio may ask to photograph completed work for records or a portfolio. Public use of a photo that identifies you—your face, name, or a distinctive tattoo we agree to keep private—needs your yes. Say so before the session if you do not want identifying details in a public image. Studio records of the work may still be kept privately as described in the Privacy Policy.
Online service limits
We work to keep booking, notification, upload, and calendar features accurate and available, but internet services and third-party providers can be delayed or unavailable. Contact the studio directly if a time-sensitive confirmation, cancellation, payment, or safety matter is not reflected correctly.
To the extent permitted by law, online tools are provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or responsibilities that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms when studio practices, features, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear above. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in another jurisdiction. The parties should first try to resolve concerns directly and in good faith.
Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to aurelshy@gmail.com or raised through the studio's official contact channels. Please include your booking reference when it is relevant.
